Ben Harper

Ben and I met on one of the hottest days I can recall in LA. We had planned to shoot on the roof of a semi-abandoned building downtown but we could barely stand outside for more than 10 minutes without melting.  He did not want me to shoot his tattoos, it took a lot of convincing. In the end, I think he was glad to take his shirt off in the heat. Ben works really fast and has very little patience for modeling. The only way to have him sit still is to put an instrument in his hands.
