Connie Nielsen

Connie and I had been friends before we met for this photo-shoot. At the time she was playing Meredith Kane on the Starz TV series Boss. We met in a train museum outside of Rome. It was an eerie place in the middle of nowhere. We had 3 smoke machines and enough lights to shoot a full feature movie scene. I’m a minimalist when it comes to light, but, this time, I was happy that we brought so many. We used every single light source we had… and I could have used more. It’s funny that Connie and I could have shot together so many times when we both lived in New York, but we ended up meeting up in Rome.
